I tried my hand at a new set of cupcake bites. Chocolate is very testy, heat it too fast or if it's too hot it gets stiff and no more smoothness. Bummer. They do taste good though!!
This a great on line magazine LMNOP which you can also download. This is a clip from the August issue. They have wonderful photos of very unique things. Most are European but available through purchases online.
What fun - cupcake pops. I saw a very talented baker on Martha Stewart and tried my hand (or baking skills) to recreate her Cupcake Pops. I think they turned out pretty good for the first try and they are tasty per Shea and Chris!! Take a peek at Bakerella.
Tonight Shea and I created Nancy the Notions Owl. You can see in the photo we used pins, a thimble and a sewing gauge as the perch. Nancy is listed on www.etsy.com and is for sale if your interested. Click on the Etsy link "chrissy410" to view what I have for sale.
We made our annual trip to the Yellow Daisy festival this year. We braved the heat and sun. Shea bought a cute halloween outfit for her American Girl dolls and I got a great owl painting by a wonderful artest. Then came the children's area......and the CRAZY HAIR. For $10 and 20 minutes Shea ended up with a head full of pipe cleaners and Crazy Hair.
